SummonAI Kit command line tool
summonaikit is the command line tool that installs SummonAI Kit into Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. It signs you in to your licence, downloads the current kit, and places the skills, subagents and hooks where your assistant looks for them. It is not published to a package manager: it installs as a binary, fetched straight from cli.summonaikit.com by the two scripts below.
Install the command line tool
One line, on any machine. The script detects your platform, downloads the binary and puts it on your path.
macOS and Linux
curl -fsSL https://cli.summonaikit.com/install.sh | bashWindows (PowerShell)
irm https://cli.summonaikit.com/install.ps1 | iexSign in and install the kit
Signing in opens a browser page to authorize the machine, then finishes on its own. The install step writes into your home folder, so the kit is available in every project rather than just the one you are standing in.
summonaikit loginInstall the kit for every project
summonaikit install --globalRunning it from an agent, with no terminal attached
Sign-in draws an interactive terminal interface by default, which fails when there is no terminal to draw into, for example inside another agent or in continuous integration. Add --json to either command below and it prints JSON instead, one object per line. Sign-in prints a line whose event is "verification", carrying the link and the code to approve, and then a line whose event is "result". Install prints a single line whose event is "result".
Headless sign-in
summonaikit login --jsonHeadless install
summonaikit install --global --jsonDownload the kit without the command line tool
The kit is also downloadable as an archive, with written instructions for where each folder goes. It is gated: you have to be signed in and hold a licence, so this is not an open download link.
Releases
Every release is written up in plain language, newest first, and the same list is published as JSON for anything that would rather read it than a page.
If something goes wrong
Install problems, sign-in problems and licence problems all go to the same place, and are answered by the person who builds the tool: hello@summonaikit.com.
